SOIREE SIPPERS: TANGERINE TONIC

We have A LOT of celebrating to do this week [tomorrow is the SOIREE | CENTER’s 2nd birthday]. With this warmer weather we’ve been having, this light and citrus-y concoction is the perfect whistle-wetter.

[What You’ll Need]

Gin or vodka
Fresh tangerines
Tonic water
Fresh limes

[What to Do]

Juice 1 fresh tangerine and 1 fresh lime into a cocktail shaker
Add ice and 1 1/2 shots of gin or vodka
Shake well and pour over fresh ice
Fill with tonic water and garnish with a tangerine rind
CHEERS!

SOIREE SIPPERS: MY GO-TO BLUEBERRY LEMONADE

It seemed only fitting on this Thirsty Thursday to share the recipe for my favorite go-to cocktail that we served at our wedding, since >> today is the 4th anniversary!

[What You’ll Need]

Blueberry-flavored vodka
Frozen blueberries
Lemonade
Soda
Lemon
Mint

[What to Do]

Blend thawed blueberries and add to lemonade
In a cocktail shaker, muddle lemon wedge and 4-6 mint leaves [make sure to extract the oils from the lemon rind]
Add 1 1/2 shots of blueberry vodka and a heavy splash of blueberry lemonade mixture
Shake well and pour over ice
Top with a small splash of soda
CHEERS!

LOOKING BACK: LA TAVOLA 2017 COLLECTION RELEASE

When the fabulous, La Tavola Fine Linen Rental approached us with the desire to host their annual collection release party here at the center…we couldn’t help but shout from the rooftops how excited we were [if you can image]. With the help of several fellow SOIREE | CENTER Members >> the event was nothing short of a success, resulting in a packed house full of linen-loving industry friends all drooling over the new 2017 Collection. A special thank you goes out to Jillian Rose Photography for so beautifully capturing the event…and don’t even get us started on the insane blooms from Coco Rose Design.

The entire space was transformed from top to bottom with breathtaking furniture pieces from Found Vintage Rentals. Of course… looking at all of the PRETTY works up quite the appetite where Feast & Fest pulled out all of the stops with their homemade vanilla peanut brittle donut holes and strawberry spring scallop ceviche [just to name a few].

Liquid Cult mixed up the tastiest pineapple margaritas to be served in gorgeous glassware from Classic Party Rental , and let’s just say that we wish ALL bars served their booze out of Found Vintage Rental’s bathtubs…

The details were impeccable, particularly the tabletop rentals from Casa De Perrin, perfectly complimenting florals from Coco Rose Design atop the debuting La Tavola 2017 Collection.

We can’t thank this DREAM TEAM of vendors enough for everything they contributed to make the event so magical!
