Is there anything better that a chilled glass of fresh-fruit sangria on a hot day?! In all honesty, it’s hard to give exact measurements for a sangria recipe because the trick is to always be tasting it as you go, adding a lil’ something here and there…but feel free to get creative and give it a go with your favorite flavors! [It’s pretty much impossible to mess up]
[What You’ll Need]
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Strawberry-flavored vodka
- Fruit juice [for this we used both apple and guava juice]
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh limes
- Ginger ale
- Soda [optional]
[What to Do]
- In a big pitcher, add 1-2 cups of strawberries, 1 cup of strawberry vodka, and 2-3 cups of whatever fruit juices you are using
- Stir well and set in the fridge for at least an hour to marinate
- When you are ready to serve, add 1 cup of ginger ale, the juice from 3 limes, and 2 bottles of Sauv Blanc
- If it is too sweet, add soda. If it’s too strong, add more fruit juice and ginger ale. Just make sure to keep tasting and adding until it’s just right.
- Garnish with a few lime spheres and more fresh strawberries
- Serve over ice
- CHEERS!
